DINO FLIP - Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your use of the Dino Flip ecosystem (Android app and HTML5 Web version), created by Shupay Studio. Our core philosophy is data minimization: we only collect what is strictly necessary to run the game and support the mission.

1. Data Collection and Usage Dino Flip does not require you to create a traditional account.

  • Cloud Data (Firestore): We generate an anonymous User ID (UID) via Firebase Auth to securely link your game progress. We store your high scores, Pro status, and an optional 3-letter display name for the global leaderboard.

  • Local Data: We store your preferences (sound, vibration settings) and session metadata (play counts) locally on your device to improve the app flow and paywall logic.

2. Third-Party Services & SDKs We use official, industry-standard third-party services that may collect device identifiers or anonymous usage data:

  • Google AdMob & UMP: Used to serve advertisements. AdMob uses the Android Advertising ID (AD_ID) to show relevant ads and manages user consent in applicable regions.

  • Google Analytics for Firebase: Collects anonymous telemetry (session length, crash reports, events) to help us balance the game difficulty and fix bugs.

  • Google Play Billing Library: Securely handles all Premium purchases.

  • Share Plus & In-App Review: Utilizes native operating system features to let you share your scores or rate the app.

3. Permissions The Android app requests minimal permissions: Network Access (to connect to leaderboards and ads) and Vibration Control (for haptic feedback during gameplay).

4. External Links & Community Our app links to external platforms (YouTube for the developer's story, Tally.so for iOS waitlists, and Buy Me a Coffee for web support). These sites have their own privacy policies which we encourage you to review.

5. Children’s Privacy We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
